After spending  20,000+ hours, SEP experts of our team decoded the DNA of 21000 patents to create version 2 of our popular 5G Essentiality Report, making it the most accurate source for understanding the global 5G patent landscape. 

A big part of our manual analysis included assessing the essentiality of each patent family by checking if it matched the relevant specifications declared by the patent holder. 

We analyzed 5G specifications for overlap with patent claims, and if limited or no overlap was found, we broadened our analysis to include all other specifications and repeated the evaluation.
